Serving reminders don't go out, and the service isn't on the calendar

What happens

You created a service with New service and filled the roster, but the automatic reminders never arrive. The published plan doesn't appear in Planning → Calendar either.

Reminders and the church calendar use the plan's saved service time, and New service saves only the date. The plan looks normal and nothing warns you.

Who it affects

Churches that create services with New service in the browser. Invitations to serve still go out.

Workaround

For a new service:

1. Go to Music → Charts → New and create the service there. That window saves the service time, and you can add a Rehearsal (optional) too.
2. Pick the right date straight away. Changing the date on the plan page later doesn't move the saved time, and a duplicate keeps the original's time.

For a service you've already created, remind people yourself:

1. Open the plan in the phone app.
2. In its roster, tap Remind. It goes to people who haven't answered, each at most once a day.

If that doesn't help

If reminders don't arrive for a service created in Music → Charts → New, check Settings → Reminders, then report it. Tell us the church and the service date.
