The app for musicians: iPhone, iPad and Android
The WorshipPro app for phones and tablets gives you your church's songs with lyrics, chords and sheet music, service plans, the Bible and your serving. Songs and plans are saved on the device, so they work without internet too.
Installing and signing in
- iPhone and iPad: App Store, requires iOS 18 (iPadOS 18) or later.
- Android: Google Play, requires Android 10 or later.
The links are at worshippro.net/en/download. Sign in with the same account you use on worshippro.net: with email and password, with Google or (on iPhone and iPad) with Apple. No account yet? You can create one in the app.
After your first sign-in, if you don't belong to a church yet, you'll see three options (later the same paths are on the You're not part of a church yet card on the Home screen and in settings):
- I have a church code or link — paste the link or the code from your leader (e.g. ABCD-EFGH),
- I'm setting up a church — you become the owner and invite your team,
- I'll use it on my own for now — the Bible, reading plans and sheet music on this device.
Scan the QR code on the screen in the room with your phone's regular camera.
What's where
Tabs (at the bottom on phones, at the top on tablets): Home, Bible, Church (when you belong to a church) and Songs.
- Home — the next service, the verse of the day, recently opened songs and quick actions.
- Church — service plans, My serving, announcements, Remote, teams, calendar.
- Songs — your church's library, grouped by songbook.
To open Settings, tap the circle with your initials (a person icon if you're not signed in): on iPad at the top right, on phones at the top right of the Home screen.
A song: Lyrics, Chords, Score, Sing
At the top of a song you pick the view (you only see what the song has):
- Lyrics — just the words,
- Chords — lyrics with chords; the layout button at the top right (on iPad with the current layout's name) switches between Lyrics, Chart and Side by side,
- Score — sheet music, e.g. in four parts from a songbook, with playback,
- Sing — syllables light up along with the music.
Swipe left or right to go to the next or previous song.
Transposing and capo
- ⊖ / ⊕ change the key by a semitone. Tap the key (e.g. G major) to open a list of all keys, including Original (G).
- Capo — for guitarists. With a capo, chords show as shapes (e.g. for G with capo 2 you see F shapes), and the caption shows the key that actually sounds.
- In the song view, key and capo are saved on this device, separately for each song. In stage mode, key, capo and columns are saved with your account, so they follow you to your other devices. Stage mode opened from a song starts with that song's key and capo.
- A song opened from a plan starts in the plan's key only if you have no saved key or capo for it yet. That key is then saved as yours. If this song's key was changed before (including by an earlier plan in a different key), you'll see the saved key: check it against the plan before the service and pick the right one from the key list if needed.
- Chord names use the international style by default. You can switch it in Settings → Songs → Chord notation: International (B, Bb) or Polish (H, B).
Song form
Above the lyrics there's a form bar, e.g. V1 C V2 C B C ×2. The current part is highlighted, and tapping a part takes you there. Pressing and holding a part during playback plays it in a loop. People who can edit change the form with the pencil at the end of the bar. In a plan: press and hold an item → Form for this service.
Stage mode
For the music stand, the stage and the pedal.
- A single song: the Stage icon (a screen with a person) at the top right, or double-tap the lyrics.
- A whole plan: open the service in the Church tab and tap the same icon at the top right of the plan (Stage mode (N), where N is the number of songs and readings). All the songs and readings in the plan line up as one run of pages.
In stage mode:
- swipe to turn the page; after a song's last page, the next song comes,
- a single tap only shows or hides the buttons (or stops autoscroll if it's running). It never turns the page, so nothing jumps in the middle of a song,
- drag down or double-tap to close stage mode,
- the screen doesn't go to sleep.
At the top: light or dark theme (☀/☾), the click, key and capo, and in the source menu Chords, Lyrics only, PDF charts and Chord variant (the ★ star is My default). At the bottom: Columns (Auto, 1, 2, Scroll), autoscroll with speed control and the pencil icon (Draw on page) for notes on the page, with your finger or Apple Pencil.
You set the default stage theme in Settings → Songs → Stage theme.
Bluetooth pedal and keyboard
Settings → Pedal / keyboard:
- Turn pages with a pedal or keyboard (on by default) — AirTurn, PageFlip and other pedals. Next page:
↓,→,PageDown,Space,Enter; previous page:↑,←,PageUp. At the end of a song opened from a plan, the next one opens. - Pedal scrolling: Full page or Half page.
- Key assignment preview shows which key your pedal sends.
You pair the pedal in your phone's or tablet's Bluetooth settings, not in the app.
Sheet music without internet
Settings → Songs → Songbooks (or the books icon at the top of the Songs tab) → pick a songbook → Download scores for offline use. You'll see "Scores on this device: X of Y songs". Download them during the week, over Wi-Fi.
By default, sheet music downloads on its own (Settings → Sheet music (Music Score) → Download sheet music from cloud automatically). When everything is already on the device, you'll see Scores downloaded to this device and Check for new scores instead of the button.
You can add your own sheet music from outside your church (PDF, MusicXML, photos of pages) in the On this iPad (or On this iPhone) section → Add sheet music….
On Android
The Android app has the same tabs, songs, plans, stage mode and Bible. A few things work differently:
- Sign-in is with email or Google. There's no Apple.
- The circle with your initials first opens a sheet with your account, church and theme. Settings is in that sheet.
- On a song, stage mode is in the ••• menu (Stage). Double-tapping the lyrics doesn't open it.
- In stage mode you close with a drag down or the ✕, not a double-tap. You can't draw on the page, pick a chord variant or change the autoscroll speed there.
- The pedal settings have no Key assignment preview.
- Your own sheet music is in the On this device section, also with Add sheet music….
