You can run the whole service from the keyboard. Press ? anywhere in the app to show this list on top. Shortcuts are written for Mac: on Windows and Linux, press Ctrl instead of ⌘ and Alt instead of ⌥ (⇧ is Shift).

Most shortcuts always work in Show. In other views they work once the projector is on.

    Slides
    • →, PgDn, Space (in Show also Enter) — next slide
    • ←, PgUp — previous slide
    • ↓ / ↑ — one row down / up in the slide grid (for Scripture: next / previous plan item)
    • Home / End — first / last slide
    • 1–9 — jump to the slide with that number (in Show)
    • G — go to slide… (type the number, Enter; in Show)
    • R — back to the chorus
    • - / = or + — smaller / larger text for this song (in Show)
    Screen
    • F5 or ⌘Enter — start the presentation (on a MacBook, F5 may need the fn key)
    • Esc Esc (twice within 1.5 s) — end the presentation
    • B or . — black screen
    • C — hide the text (the background stays)
    • L — logo
    • Space — play / pause the video on screen (in Show; in other views Space is next slide)
    • M — write a message for the musicians
    • ⇧M — take the message off the stage display
    Plan
    • ⇧→ / ⇧← — next / previous plan item
    • ⌥↑ / ⌥↓ — move the selected item up / down
    • Delete / ⌫ — remove the selected item from the plan
    Search and library

Enter, ⇧Enter and ⌘D work in the library in Show (on the selected row or in the search field).

    • ⌘K or / — search songs
    • Enter — the selected item (or the first match) to the screen; during a presentation, as the next item
    • ⇧Enter — show now
    • ⌘D — add to plan
    • ⌘B — Bible on screen (in Show)
    Views and windows
    • ⌘1–⌘8 — views in sidebar order: Show, Sermon, Songs, Bible, Media, Services, Themes, Settings
    • ⌘, — Settings
    • ⌘\ — collapse / expand the sidebar
    • ⌘⇧S — stage display on / off
    • ⌘⇧M — operator monitor on / off
    • ⌘⇧F — follow singing on / off
    • ? — list of shortcuts

In the stage display window: F or a double-click — full screen, Esc — back to a window. In the projector window, Esc turns full screen into a small window.

In the song editor: ⌘S saves, Esc cancels.

Change the shortcuts to suit you

    Settings → Shortcuts:

    • Change next to an action — press the new key (Esc cancels),
    • + — adds another key next to the existing ones, e.g. a pedal or a clicker for the next and previous slide,
    • ↺ (Restore defaults) next to an action, and Restore all defaults at the top.

If a key is already taken, the app asks whether to move it (Reassign). Shortcuts marked "fixed" (e.g. 1–9, Esc Esc) can't be changed. You also can't assign system keys such as ⌘Q, ⌘C or Tab. Your shortcut settings are remembered on this computer.

    Presentation clicker and pedal

Most presentation clickers send PgDn / PgUp or the arrow keys, so they work right away. If yours sends something else (e.g. Insert or Menu), add it with the + button next to the Next slide (Scripture, last verse: the next verse) and Previous slide actions. You connect a Bluetooth pedal the same way. Media keys (⏭ ⏮ ⏯) may not reach the app, because the system can take them first. If nothing happens when you press one while adding it, switch the clicker to another mode.

Remote on your phone: Phones in the room: text on phones, remote and leading the musicians.
