The stage display is a separate picture for the band, on a monitor or TV facing the stage. The room doesn't see it. How to assign a screen to it: Screens: projector, stage display and operator monitor.

Shortcuts are written for Mac: on Windows and Linux, press Ctrl instead of ⌘ and Alt instead of ⌥ (⇧ is Shift).

    Turning it on

In Show, in the STAGE DISPLAY panel, click the people icon (Open stage display) or press ⌘⇧S. While the stage display is open, a Stage tab appears under the projector preview, showing what's on it.

    What the band sees
    • the song title, key and capo, the current part and the item number in the plan (“Plan 3 / 9”),
    • the song map (V1 C V2 C…) with the current part highlighted,
    • the current slide, as large as possible, with chords above the syllables,
    • the next slide or the next plan item, and at the end of the plan “— end of the plan —” (a song shown outside a plan ends with “— end of song —”),
    • a clock and the countdown to the start of the service (in red when you're running late); a timer shown to the musicians takes the countdown's place,
    • the team note from the plan (“✎ …”),
    • for a presentation — the page and the speaker's NOTES.
    Stage layout

The drop-down in the STAGE DISPLAY panel, next to the people icon (tooltip “Stage layout”):

    • Full (chords + lyrics + next) — for the band,
    • Chords + lyrics — a big current slide, the next one only as a single line,
    • Lyrics + next — for singers, no chords,
    • Lyrics only.
Key and capo on the stage only

For a song with chords, the panel has a Key row: − and + move the chords a half step on the stage display only, ↺ goes back to the song's key and clears the capo. Next to it is the capo picker (No capo, Capo 1…). The projector doesn't change.

    Message for the musicians

A short message on the band's screen only — “chorus again”, “slow down”.

    1. Press M anywhere in the app (or click the field in the MESSAGE FOR THE MUSICIANS panel).
    2. Type the text (up to 80 characters), e.g. “last verse a cappella”.
    3. Pick how long it shows: 5 s, 10 s, 30 s or Until cleared.
    4. Enter or Send.

The ready-made buttons send with one click: Slow down, Speed up, Chorus again, Wrap up, Louder, Quieter. You can set your own in Settings → Remote & musicians → Ready-made messages for the musicians (up to 12).

Clear or ⇧M takes the message down. The message also shows in the operator monitor and in the phone remote, and the leader can send it from a phone.

Message for the room and countdown

The MAIN SCREEN panel is for messages to everyone:

    • A message for the room (up to 140 characters), e.g. “Parents of child no. 12, please come to the Sunday school room”. Duration: 15 s, 30 s, 1 min or Until cleared, then Show.
    • A countdown to a time, e.g. to 10:00, with the line Starting in. Click Count down. While it runs, the slide text and the logo step aside; the background stays.

Both show once the projector is on.

    Timers

    TIMERS panel → + Timer:

    • Until a time — counts down to the time you pick,
    • Countdown — e.g. 5, 10, 15, 30 or 45 minutes, or any length in mm:ss format,
    • Stopwatch.

Give it a name (e.g. “Sermon”) and click Add. On each timer:

    • ▶ / ⏸ Start and Pause, ↺ Reset — back to the beginning (not on an Until a time timer — it runs by itself),
    • the people icon (Show to the musicians) — on the stage display,
    • the monitor icon (Show on the main screen) — for the room (not for the stopwatch),
    • the broadcast icon (Show on the stream) — in the livestream.

Each screen shows one timer at a time. On the stage display the last minute is yellow, and after time is up the timer turns red and keeps counting with a minus. On the main screen and on the stream the timer stops at zero and disappears about 2 seconds later — the room and viewers never see a minus. A timer on the main screen takes the countdown's place: the slide text and the logo step aside. Timers survive an app restart, and you can control them from the phone remote.

    Stage display without a cable

The band can get the same picture in a browser (e.g. on a tablet by the drums) or in the WorshipPro app on a phone: Phones in the room: text on phones, remote and leading the musicians.
