Your profile, family, giving and notifications
This guide is for every church member. You don't need a special role. It shows what you can look after yourself and what to ask your church for.
Where to find things
In the browser, the Mine group in the left menu has your Dashboard, My serving, My groups, My giving and more. What you see depends on what your church uses. The bell at the top of the menu opens Notifications. Your church's name at the bottom of the menu opens your account: Account security, Language and Sign out.
In the phone app, use the Church tab, and your avatar on Start → Settings.
Your profile
Two things carry your name: your account, which you sign in with, and your entry in the church directory. Each new member gets a directory entry automatically.
There's no screen for editing your own details. Your name, phone and email in the directory are changed by someone with People: Edit, so ask your church administrator. They can also add your date of birth or allergies.
What you can change yourself:
- Language: PL or EN in the account menu. It also sets the language of your emails.
- Password: on the sign-in page, click Forgot your password? and you'll get a link to set a new one.
- Account security: Enable 2FA, or check Active sessions, where Revoke signs out one device and Sign out other devices signs out the rest. More in Security and privacy: 2FA, people's data and backups.
To delete your account, use the phone app: Settings → Delete account. The browser has no such button, and you can also do it by email. Read Deleting your account and data first. If you're your church's only administrator, hand over that role before you delete. Your directory entry stays with the church, unlinked from the account. To have it removed too, ask the church.
Your family
Your household is set up by the church, so ask a leader to add your family: The people directory. Once that's done, you can do two things:
Kids check-in. If your church uses it, open Mine → Kids check-in. You'll see the children in your household and any you're a guardian of. Choose a class, click Pre-check, and show the code at the station. The code works for today only. Withdraw cancels a pre-check. In the phone app this is the Kids check-in section on the Church tab, shown when there are classes today. More in Kids check-in and Sunday school.
Serving with your household. Open Mine → My serving and scroll to Household and serving. Choose No preference, Together with my household or Never on the same day, e.g. when someone has to stay with the children. If any of you picks Never on the same day, that wins. This setting is in the browser only, and it does nothing until you're in a household.
Your giving
Mine → My giving in the browser, and Church → Personal → My giving on Android. The current iPhone and iPad app doesn't have it, so use the browser there. You see only your own gifts, and other members don't see them.
- My gifts shows the year's total, the breakdown by tax relief and every gift with its date, fund and method. Change the year with Year.
- PIT statement is for tax returns in Poland. Annual statement PDF becomes available when the year ends.
- My campaign pledges, in the browser only, lets you say what you'd like to give to a campaign: Pledge, an amount and Due date (optional), then Save. You can Change or Withdraw it.
- Recurring support stays empty for now: it starts after a paid online gift, and online payments aren't available yet.
A transfer or cash gift appears here after the treasurer records it on your donor card. If you see “Your gifts will appear here once the treasurer links your account”, give the treasurer the email address you sign in with. How to give today: Giving page and QR codes: what works today.
Notifications
In the browser, click the bell. In the phone app, go to Settings → Notifications. The settings apply to one church, so if you belong to two, set them in each.
There are two channels, On phone and tablet and Email. Each has a main switch and one switch per type:
- Requests to serve, Serving reminders, Open spots to serve
- Plan changes, which is off by default because every plan edit sends one
- Church announcements and Group conversations
- My giving
- other types for leaders and treasurers, shown in the list with a short explanation
Changes save straight away. Serving reminders also covers reminders about tasks and care workflow cards. Account emails, such as invitations and password resets, always arrive.
Push works in the phone app only. If nothing arrives, open Settings → Notifications in the app and tap Turn on notifications on this device.
Below the switches in the browser is Consent to announcements, with Push announcements and Email announcements. Your church sends you announcements only with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time. The date of each change is recorded. You set this in the browser, not in the app.
Tasks and cards
If someone gives you a job, it appears as My tasks or My cards on your Dashboard, and at the top of the Church tab in the phone app. You can tick off a task or move a card on without any directory access. See Lists, care workflows and automations.
What others can see about you
- People with directory access (e.g. leaders) see your directory entry: contact details, date of birth, allergies, medical notes and general notes. Only people with Pastoral & confidential notes see pastoral and prayer notes.
- Other members see your name, and in the app your role, teams and upcoming serving, but not your phone or email.
- In a group, the leader sees your contact details. If you lead a group, its members see yours.
- If your date of birth is in the directory, your name and birthday (day and month) appear under Birthdays on the Dashboard for the week before.
Want a copy of your data, or want it erased? Ask your church administrator. They can export or anonymize your entry.
“Your account isn't linked”
Some screens need your account and your directory entry to be connected. If you see this message, tell your church administrator, and mention the email address you sign in with.
