Deleting your account and data
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Polish version (Usunięcie konta) is the legally binding one; in case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
You can delete your WorshipPro account together with the related personal data at any time (Art. 17 GDPR). Choose one of the options below.
Option 1: in the iPhone and iPad app
- Open WorshipPro and sign in.
- Tap your avatar (on iPad in the top right corner, on iPhone on the Start screen) or the Settings tile (Ustawienia) on the Start screen.
- In the Account section (Konto), choose Delete account (Usuń konto).
- Confirm — if your account has a password, the app will ask you to enter it.
The account is deleted immediately, and the app signs you out on all devices.
Option 2: by email (without the app)
Write from the address associated with your account to contact@worshippro.net with the subject "WorshipPro account deletion". We will delete the account after confirming that the message comes from you, and we will reply once it is done.
The web application (worshippro.net) has no button for deleting an account — use the app or write to us.
What will be deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Sign-in data: password, link to your Apple and Google account, two-factor authentication | deleted immediately |
| Sign-in sessions (including IP addresses and device information) | deleted immediately — you are signed out on all devices |
| First and last name and email in the account | deleted immediately (if the account uploaded files to a church, an empty "Deleted account" entry (Usunięte konto) without your data remains) |
| Church memberships, settings, annotations on sheet music, reading plan progress in the web version | deleted immediately |
| Data stored only on the device (scans and photos of pages, notes and bookmarks in the Bible) | not on the server — delete them in the app or delete the app |
What may remain (and why)
- Content created within a church — songs, plans, files — belongs to the church and remains there, but without being attributed to you.
- An entry in the church membership records (if the church keeps one for you) is unlinked from the account. Its deletion is decided by the church as the controller of that data — write to the church or to us, and we will forward your request.
- Log entries — the log of sent emails, the church activity log and the record of acceptance of the Terms may contain your email address. They serve security and accountability purposes; at your request we will delete or anonymize them, unless they are needed to establish or defend claims.
- Technical server logs are deleted automatically as part of log rotation.
If you are the only owner or administrator of a church
The app will not let you delete your account until you hand over the owner or administrator role to another person (worshippro.net → Members; Członkowie in the Polish interface). If the whole church is to stop using WorshipPro, write to contact@worshippro.net — we will help export the data and delete the church.
Sign in with Apple
If you signed in with Apple, after deleting your account you can also disconnect WorshipPro in your Apple ID settings ("Sign in with Apple").
