Known issues: start here

This category lists problems we have confirmed, each with a way around it. Every topic says what happens, who it affects, which version, and what to do.

We check these topics against the versions you can install today: the website, the desktop app 0.9.62 for Mac, 0.9.61 for Windows, 0.9.57 for Linux, the iPhone and iPad app 1.0 (build 95) and the Android app 0.0.31.

Everywhere

• What doesn't work yet

Desktop app

• The projector turned into a small window and won't go back to full screen
• A file I marked Keep offline is gone after Prepare service
• The English desktop app gives pasted songs Polish part names

Browser

• The Give button on our giving page says thank you, but no money is taken
• The person I need isn't on the list when I build a roster or add someone to a team
• Serving reminders don't go out, and the service isn't on the calendar
• Suggest a roster finds nobody, or leaves out people who are on the team
• The serving request page shows a long code instead of a date, and the time looks wrong
• Our church emails changed language after I saved the church profile
• The comma disappears when I type tags on a song
• I signed up with Apple or Google and can't turn on 2FA
• Creating a church ends with an error at the last step

Phone and tablet

• A song opened from a plan shows a different key from the plan
• The iPad app freezes when I go to the Bible
• Edit grid on iPhone or iPad removed my notes, bar text or fermatas
• In the English iPhone and iPad app the click's Start button says Home
• Android check-in station: check-ins made without internet are lost if the app closes

Tell us: How to report a bug. Say what you did, what you saw and on which device. If your problem matches a topic here, add a reply there instead of opening a new one. It shows us how many churches it affects.

What the Solved badge means

Solved means the fix is finished and released, so you get it on the website or by updating the app. A fix that is only in testing doesn't get the badge. We don't give dates here. When a fix is out, we mark the topic and name the version that has it.
